STATESVILLE, NC - A second woman has said she was sexually harassed by the former head of police agency's domestic violence unit, Richard Jenkins III. Lisa Mangiardi says she sought help from the Iredell County Sheriff's office for a domestic violence issue and that is when Richard sexually propositioned her and began stalking her.

She says after she filed charges for domestic violence against her husband, detective Richard Jenkins III sexually propositioned her and began stalking her.Mangiardi was added to a lawsuit filed in March by Suzanne Wick. Wick also says Jenkins sexually harassed her and stalked her too. The lawsuit is seeking more than $10,000 in damages for emotional distress. Sheriff Phillip Redmond also is named as a defendant.The lawsuit states that Jenkins deliberately targets domestic violence victims because they are more vulnerable to abuse.The article comes from WCNC.com
