Josephine Robert is the Senior Litigation Paralegal at Van Kampen Law, where she serves as the right hand to founding partner Joshua Van Kampen. As an early employee of the firm, Josephine was instrumental in establishing the intake and paralegal processes from 2020-2022. After a brief departure to pursue a career as a marketing executive, she returned to Van Kampen Law in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a refreshed perspective on the corporate environment that our clients are tasked with navigating on a daily basis. Today, Josie plays a pivotal role in the firm's most complex cases, leveraging her extensive background in marketing psychology and storytelling to help build compelling narratives that humanize the firm’s clients to the opposing counsels, juries, and judges to whom the firm appeals.

Before rejoining the firm, Josie spent several years as a marketing executive, holding senior roles at companies like The Lift Box and Headlines Over Sidelines. Her marketing career honed her understanding of communications strategy and storytelling, a skill set that uniquely positions her to connect with and advocate on behalf of the firm’s clients. Throughout her career, Josie has consistently focused on human-centered communication, a natural fit for her passion for psychology and storytelling, which she now uses daily to support litigation efforts at Van Kampen Law.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys painting, running, and spending time with her husband, Blaise, and their two Golden Retrievers, Obi-Wan and Ani, in Charleston, South Carolina. You can often find her soaking up the South Carolina sun or practicing yoga on the beach
